2006: Played in 15 matches for the Eagles, recording 34 kills (1.36/game) with 11 digs and five blocks as a freshman…recorded seven kills twice, first in a three-game win against Holy Names (8/26/06) in her second collegiate match, then matching the feat in a three-game victory over Embry Riddle AZ (10/28/06)…had five kills and no errors in eight attacks (.625 attack percentage) in a three-game sweep at San Diego Christian (10/31/06).

HIGH SCHOOL: Four-year varsity letterwinner at Amador Valley High School in Pleasanton…helped the Dons to an East Bay Athletic League title as a junior and a second place finish in the league as a senior…team earned “Scholar Team Award” all four seasons.

PERSONAL: Major is Communications…parents are Gary and Melody Nixon…has an older sister, Amber (25) and brother Adam (21)…sister Amber was a high jumper at Westmont College, placing first in the NAIA Championships in 2002 and 2003.
