2009: Medical redshirt, sitting out the season after suffering a foot injury prior to the start of the year.
2008: Strong part of Biola’s 6-2 offense, playing in all 35 matches and 121 sets for Biola as a junior…had 645 assists (5.33/set) and led the team with 47 aces (0.39/set)…second on the team with 262 digs (2.17/set) and added 13 kills…recorded season-high 30 assists in five-set win over Bellevue NE, adding nine digs and a kill in the match…had four-set season-best 24 assists on two occasions including a four-set win over Madonna MI at the NAIA Tournament (Dec. 4)…three-set season-best 24 assists came in second match of the year, a sweep over Great Falls MT (Aug.22)…recorded career-best 20 digs and added 22 assists in a four-set win over Lubbock Christian TX in the first match of the NAIA Tournament (Dec. 2).
2007: Continued to excel in Biola’s 6-2 offense, appearing in all 40 matches for the Eagles, making 17 starts and recording 880 assists (6.47/game) as a sophomore…led the team with 54 services aces (0.40/game) and added 341 digs (2.51/game) four blocks and seven kills…recorded an impressive 42 assists in Biola’s five-game win over the College of Idaho (8/31/07), adding 16 digs, and three aces…followed that performance up with 32 assists in a three-game sweep over Westminster (Utah) the next day (9/1/07)…posted a season-high five aces in Biola’s sweep of National America (S.D.) (9/28/07).
2006: Stepped right into the starting role as a true freshman, posting 1,453 assists (12.42/game), the third highest mark in school history…one of just two players to appear in all 117 games and one of four to play in all 32 matches…had 107 kills (0.91/game), 47 blocks (0.40/game), 310 digs (2.65/game) and 47 aces…named GSAC and Region II Setter of the Week for 9/25/06 after recording 99 assists in a pair of conference wins…had a season-high 70 assists in a five-game loss at Azusa Pacific (10/17/06)…recorded an impressive seven aces in a win over Embry Riddle AZ (10/28/06).
HIGH SCHOOL: Played three seasons of varsity volleyball at Santa Fe Christian School in Solana Beach…helped Eagles reach the CIF Division V State finals all three seasons, winning championships as a sophomore and senior…earned All-Coastal League North honors as a junior and senior…also named All-CIF and to the All-State Tournament team as a senior…also played basketball for the Eagles.
PERSONAL: Majoring in Sociology and plans to teach after college…parents are Randy and Julie Wright…father played baseball and basketball at Biola.
