Recruiting 101 · Prospective student-athletes

How it works

Admissions, financial aid, NCAA eligibility and campus visits, in the order you will actually need them.

Start with the questionnaire

The fastest way onto a Biola coaching staff's radar is to fill out your sport's recruiting questionnaire. It goes straight to that staff.

Admissions

For complete information on the admissions process at Biola, including a timeline, visit the admissions site. From there you can find information tailored to freshmen and to transfer students, and take a virtual tour of campus; the tour link is under Visiting campus below.

Financial aid

For complete information about financial aid, including a timeline for the process, an explanation of the different types of aid, and estimated costs of attendance, visit the Financial Aid Office.

NCAA rules and requirements

Beyond applying to Biola and meeting the university's admission requirements, you must also be deemed eligible under NCAA rules. The NCAA Eligibility Center certifies your initial eligibility for athletics. For recruiting rules, FAQs and Eligibility Center requirements, see our compliance page for prospective student-athletes.

Visiting campus

If you are planning to visit our campus and athletics facilities, directions and maps are below. If you cannot make it in person, take the virtual tour until you can experience it yourself. If you get lost on the way, call our front desk at (562) 903-6000.

Contacting coaches

The best way to get on our coaches' radar is to submit a recruiting questionnaire first. You can also find coach contact information in the staff directory.

Before you reach outCertain NCAA rules may prevent coaches from returning emails or phone calls, or from having on-campus contact with you. Review the recruiting rules first so you know what to expect.
