Biola University Athletics

2007: Made an immediate impact in her first season at Biola, playing in 39 matches and making 37 starts...Named to All-GSAC team after finishing second on the team and ninth in the GSAC with 378 kills (2.91/game)…added 330 digs (2.54/game), 72 blocks (0.55/game), 37 assists and 16 aces…recorded double-digit kills in 20 matches including a season-best 19 in the Eagles’ five-game upset win over No. 1 Fresno Pacific (10/31/07)...posted an error-free match with 14 kills in 26 attacks in a three-game sweep of The Master’s (9/29/08).

2006 (Georgetown University): Started all 27 matches and played in 95 games as a sophomore for the Hoyas…led the team with 340 kills (3.58/game)…added 248 digs (2.61/game), 34 assists, 30 blocks and 23 aces…named Georgetown Classic Tournament MVP and Big East Player of the Week after tallying 37 kills, 26 digs, five blocks, four aces and three assists in the Hoyas three victories in the tournament…also earned Big East Academic All-Star honors.

2005 (Georgetown University): Played in 59 games as a true freshman…fourth on the team with 152 digs (2.58/game) and fifth with 117 kills (1.98/game)…also added 20 aces, 12 blocks and 11 assists…recorded three double-doubles including a 12 kill, 19 dig performance against the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (9/3/05).

HIGH SCHOOL: Started all four seasons at Lynbrook High School…earned All-SCVAL honors as a sophomore, junior and senior...also named MVP as a junior and senior.

PERSONAL: Major is Nursing…parents are Chuck and Carol Buffum…youngest of four children, has older brothers Josh (29) and Zack (23) and older sister Michelle (27).
