2009: Appeared in 22 matches and 77 sets as a junior, recording 135 digs (1.75/set), 28 assists (0.22/set), 17 aces, three kills and committing just 20 reception errors in 232 attempts (.914)…suffered a knee injury the first week of October and returned for three matches at the NAIA National Tournament in December…had career-high five aces in sweep over Westminster College (Aug. 21)…recorded career-best nine digs on three separate occasions, the last coming in a four-set loss at Cal Baptist (Sept. 26)…named GSAC and NAIA scholar-athlete.
2008: Played in 23 matches as a sophomore and had 55 digs (0.98/set), eight aces, two assists, one kill and a .932 reception percentage (4 errors in 59 attempts)…recorded season-best eight digs twice, once in a sweep over San Diego Christian (Sept. 16) and again in a sweep at Westmont (Oct. 14).
2007: Appeared in 24 matches and 43 sets for the Eagles as a true freshman, with 24 digs (0.56/set), seven aces, and a kill…picked up her first two collegiate aces and added the lone kill of the season in Biola’s win over Bryan College TN (Oct. 15)…followed that up with a season-best six digs in the Eagles’ sweep of San Diego Christian (Oct. 16).
HIGH SCHOOL: Was a four-year starter while at Moses Lake Christian Academy in Moses Lake, Washington…First-team All-North Central League as a sophomore, junior and senior…named league MVP as a senior…earned First-Team All-State honors her senior season after earning honorable mention honors as a junior…also earned all-league honors twice in basketball.
PERSONAL: Major is Communications Studies…parents are Scott and Mishal Dietzen…has three older brothers, J.D. (27), Nick (26) and Derek (24) and a younger sister, Hannah (15)…brothers J.D., Nick and Derek played baseball and graduated from Biola …father is a CPA at LeMaster and Daniels Accounting Firm.
