Biography

2007: Became one of Biola’s top weapons off the bench as a sophomore, seeing action in 32 matches and 77 games while making a pair of starts…had 50 kills (0.65/game) with 35 blocks (0.45/game) and added 13 digs and 10 assists…recorded a season-highs of eight kills and six blocks in a three-game sweep at San Diego Christian (9/11/07)…contributed five kills and three blocks in the Eagles upset win over No. 1 Fresno Pacific (10/31/07).

2006: An instant contributor as a freshman, appearing in 31 matches and making 17 starts…posted 145 kills (1.54/game), 67 blocks (0.71/game) and 21 aces…had 14 kills in a five-game loss to Point Loma Nazarene (11/04/06)…followed that up with 13 kills in four games in the season’s final match at Azusa Pacific (11/14/06)…led the Eagles with 12 kills in a three-game win over McPherson KS (10/20/06)…had a season-best nine blocks against Azusa Pacific (10/17/06).

HIGH SCHOOL: Three-year varsity starter and letterwinner at Colorado Springs Christian HS…helped CSCS to consecutive Colorado State Championships as a junior and senior…in 2005, helped team to No. 1 ranking among national Christian High Schools and No. 8 among all high schools…finished season with 30-0 overall record…named MVP of 2005 State Championship after nine kill, six block, four dig and two ace performance in championship match…chosen to play on Colorado All-State Team as a senior…helped team to 31-1 overall mark as a junior in 2004…named “Best Blocker” by the Rocky Mountain News in 2005…established CSHS blocking records in a career (248), match (12) and game (4)…named school’s “best blocker” from 2003-05...also helped Colorado Juniors club team to Junior Olympic 17s National Championship in 2005.

PERSONAL: Plans to major in Kinesiology…parents are Scott and Heidi Cunningham…has a younger sister, Rachael (16).
