2009: Had a breakout season as a junior, appearing in all 34 matches for the Eagles…led the team and ranked third in the GSAC with 132 blocks (1.07/set) and was seventh in the GSAC in hitting percentage at .330 (267-79-569)…tied a school record with a 1.07 blocks per set average…had 267 kills (2.17/set) and added 21 digs and six assists…recorded at least one block in each match and posted double-digit kills in 11 matches…had career-best 16 kills twice, the last coming in a sweep over Hope International (Oct. 13), posting a .652 attack percentage (16-1-23) in the win…recorded career-best nine blocks came against Azusa Pacific (Nov. 11) and added 10 kills in the five-set loss.
2008: Played in 21 matches and 48 sets as a sophomore, recording 34 kills (0.71/set), 31 blocks (0.65/set), nine digs and five assists…had season-high seven kills in sweep at Hope International (Oct. 28)…season-best five digs came in sweep at Westmont (Oct. 14).
2007: Saw action in 17 matches and 35 sets, making one start as a true freshman with 19 kills (0.54/set) and 27 blocks (0.77/set)…recorded season-highs of five kills and seven blocks in Biola’s three-game sweep over Hope International (Oct. 23).
HIGH SCHOOL: Four-year letterwinner at Temescal Canyon High School…earned All-Southwestern League first-team honors as a junior and a senior after being named to the second-team as a sophomore…named team MVP as a junior and senior season…awarded the Titan Player award in 2006…also played basketball, helping the TCHS to a league and CIF Southern Section Championship as a senior.
PERSONAL: Major in Kinesiology…parents are Tay and Thea Hampton…has three siblings: brothers Kris (26), Rocky (22) and Matayo (12) and sister Haleigh (17)…brother Rocky is a former All-American on the Biola basketball team and sister Haleigh plays volleyball at Long Beach State University.
