COLUMBUS, Georgia. --- For one final time Biola Swim & Dive is ready to compete at the NAIA Swimming & Diving Championships, which begin the first full day of competition today at the Columbus Aquatic Center in Columbus, Georgia.
 
Head Coach Emily Mosbacher's team already has two top-10 finishes at the meet and one All-American relay as both 800-freestlye relays performed well yesterday as the only event on day one of competition. The team will compete in various events throughout the course of the next three days, including one-meter and three-meter diving, all the relays, the 500-freestyle, both IMs and much more.
 
Included on the Eagles' nationals squad is: Shane Brinson, Emily Silzel, Bethany Harper, Andrew Benson, Wes McCord, Noah Reed, Lisa Tixier, Rachel Stinchcomb, Sophia Dammann, Sammy Dammann, Jennifer Walker, Lilly Barrett, Thomine Mortensen, Rebecca Brandt, Haley Baker, Dominique Kaijser, Daniel Vale, Tom Franicevich, Michael Severi, Matthew Roe, Baylee Lenzkes, Raymond Kam, Jenny London, Kaylynn Schull and Andrew Corl.
 
Last season the Eagles' women's team placed a program-best fourth place and Lisa Tixier was right in the thick of it for NAIA Female Swimmer of the Year. Look for the Eagles to make a case for a similar (or better) finish this season and for Tixier to be right up there again. The men's team finished 12^th last season and were spearheaded by two-time national champion diver Shane Brinson.
 
Day two of competition, which includes the 200-freestyle, 500-freestyle, 200-IM, 50-freestyle, 400-medley relay and women's one-meter diving has its finals beginning at 5:00 p.m. ET.
