LA MIRADA --- Biola University Athletics continued its strong showing in the classroom, as 175 Eagles earned D2 ADA Academic Achievement Awards for the 2025-26 academic year, the most of any institution in the PacWest Conference.
The Division 2 Athletics Directors Association's Academic Achievement Awards recognize student-athletes who maintain a 3.5 or higher cumulative GPA, have completed at least two years or four semesters of college-level coursework and were active members of an intercollegiate team during the previous academic year.
Biola's 175 honorees led a strong showing from the PacWest, which totaled 1,186 award recipients across the conference. The PacWest finished seventh among 23 NCAA Division II conferences and averaged 91.23 honorees per institution, the highest mark in conference history.
Nationwide, more than 21,000 student-athletes from 179 institutions received the honor in the 19th year of the D2 ADA Academic Achievement Awards program. Since the award's inception, 211,256 student-athletes have been recognized.
