LA MIRADA --- Biola Athletics had 259 Academic All-PacWest selections during the 2025-26 academic year and led the conference in three sports.
The PacWest Conference recognized 2,700 Academic All-PacWest selections across its 13 member institutions, averaging 208 scholar-athletes per school.
Seventeen Biola student-athletes earned Academic All-PacWest recognition in two sports. The Eagles also accounted for 10 of the conference's 172 perfect 4.0 cumulative grade-point averages. Those honorees included Carter Hawley (men's cross country, men's track & field), Karis Brown (women's cross country, women's track & field), Gauthier Caloz (men's soccer), Kyle Denn (men's soccer), Hannah Hanson (volleyball, women's track & field), Maria Vidal Poy (women's track & field) and Sami Robinson (women's soccer).
Biola led the conference with 21 Academic All-PacWest selections in volleyball while tying for the conference lead in women's basketball with 15 honorees and men's track & field with 38. The Eagles were one of only three institutions to lead or tie for the conference lead in at least three sports, joining Menlo (five sports) and Vanguard (three). Biola's men's track & field program also finished with the second-most Academic All-PacWest honorees of any men's team, trailing only Menlo baseball.
To qualify for Academic All-PacWest recognition, student-athletes must maintain at least a 3.0 cumulative grade-point average, complete at least two semesters at their institution and participate in regular-season competition or redshirt in one of the conference's 15 sponsored sports.
