White Named GSAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week

DeMoria White earns Player of the Week honors for the second time in two months.

LA MIRADA, Calif. --- In recognition of her contributions to the Eagles' No. 21 ranking and her excellent offensive numbers over the past two games, DeMoria White has been named GSAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week for the second time this season. White was previously given the award on Dec. 12.

Last week, White scored 22 points in the Eagles' win on the road at San Diego Christian and 21 points in a 74-57 win at home versus Menlo College. The Inglewood, California native shot .548 from the field over the Eagles' two wins and sank seven three-point shots. She currently sits in fifth place in the NAIA leader board for three-point field goals with 57.

White also posted a season-high rebounding mark with seven boards in Saturday's game against Menlo and has scored at least 20 points each of the last three games.

Biola Women's Basketball will return to action on the road Tuesday for a NAIA Top-25 matchup against No. 5 Vanguard. The game begins at 5:30 p.m.
