GENEVA, Ohio --- The final day of the 2015 Indoor Track & Field Championships went as well as it possibly could have for Biola, as all three of the Eagles' competitors earned All-American status with their performances.
 
Kevin Horchler was slotted to appear in the 5,000m finals, but a meet management error made it so that the senior and the rest of the field ran only 4,700m. Nevertheless, Horchler posted a 13:55.91 to finish sixth and grab his first All-American honor.
 
"All of our finalists were great representatives of Biola while earning All-American honors," said Head Coach Bill Crumley. "This was especially evident with Kevin's handling of the meet management mistakenly signaling the end of the 5,000m race. He handled the situation with grace and dignity."
 
Anika Gasner earned the seventh All-American honor of her three-year career thus far. She posted a 5:01.99 to finish seventh in the mile finals.
 
Kellian Hunt finished highest of any Eagle on Saturday, as she sped to a 2:55.21 in the 1,000m to place fifth and earn her sixth All-American plaque.
 
"Saturday was a great cap to a great weekend," said Assistant Coach Collin Christensen. "Our athletes all came here with the goal of carrying themselves in a competitive and Christ-like manner, and it was evidenced in their performances."
 
The Eagles fly home from Ohio to jump straight into their outdoor season schedule. Horchler, Hunt, Gasner and the rest of the squad resumes its slate on March 13 at the Occidental distance and sprints festival.
