OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. --- Biola added another six All-American awards to its collection on Friday, with Christine Tixier winning the 100-butterfly for the fourth year running, Lisa Tixier grabbing a third-place finish and another third-place relay.
 
Tixier was again the highlight of the day, breaking her own national record in the fly event with a :54.25 swim in the prelims. She becomes one of just a small handful of NAIA swimmers to win the same event all four seasons. This individual championship brings her up to seven total during her tenure at Biola.
 
"We were so excited to see Christine win the 100-butterfly for the fourth time and set a national record," said Head Coach Eddie Shepard.
 
Another marquee moment was the younger Tixier's third-place finish in the 400-IM, earning her second individual All-American honor of the meet. She posted a 4:28.72 to set a new school record.
 
The final four All-American honors the Eagles attained came with the women's 400-medley relay's third-place finish. Megan Nerud, Angela Kirschner and the Tixiers combined to go 3:51.73 to set a new school record and become the second women's relay to get a top-3 finish in program history.
 
"We came into today with such great momentum from our swims yesterday," said Shepard. "Despite the fact that the kids have already swam a ton at this meet they put up some amazing times."
 
Another record fell in the men's 100-backstroke when Edward Campana broke Shepard's 12-year-old record in the event. Campana finished 11^th overall with his :51.45.
 
The men's team got two top-8 relay finishes with efforts from Bretton Smith, James Daughters, Cort Sharp and Campana in the 200-freestyle relay (1:23.99) and Campana, Smith, Chad LeJeune and Charlie Nanfria in the 400-medley relay (3:28.03), both new school records.
 
The Eagles' final top-8 finish came with a fourth-place, record-setting, showing in the women's 200-freestyle relay (1:35.25).
 
Sophia Dammann had another strong swim, placing 10^th overall in the 400-IM (4:39.08). Relay All-Americans Kirschner and Nerud also had top-16 individual showings in their respective events.
 
Biola will conclude its season with the final day of competition from Oklahoma tomorrow. The team will compete in the 200-backstroke, 200-breaststroke, 100-freestyle, 200-butterfly, 400-freestyle relay, 1,650-freestyle and Shane Brinson's three-meter dive.
