CORONA, Calif. --- Biola added 10 strokes to its day one scores and fell into 15^th place to finish the 2015 CBU Men's Invitational with a final team score of 940 (+76).
 
After shooting back-to-back rounds of 310 in the opening day of competition, the Eagles shot a 320 on Tuesday afternoon, led by Cameron Bauer's 77 (+5).
 
The individual score for Bauer was a positive sign after he struggled on day one, sitting fifth on the Eagles' scorecard with two rounds in the 80s. The third round brought him up to a 243 (+27) for the tournament, which was still Biola's highest score and left him tied for 75^th in the 83-man field.
 
The course played tougher that it did on Monday as the entire field saw in increase in average scoring, as yesterday's average was around 76.4 and today's was 77.2.
 
The increase in difficulty was exhibited on Biola's scorecards as three of the five individuals saw their scores go up between rounds two and three. William Langworthy is the other Eagle to drop strokes on this second day, going from an 81 to a 79.
 
Biola's lowest scorers in the tournament were Samuel Shih and Kevin VandeKamp, who each carded 236s (+20) to finish in a tie for 61^st place.
 
Simon Fraser held onto its day one lead to win the team championship with a three-round tally of 870 (+6). SFU shot a 289 in round three to finish eight strokes ahead of second-place Sonoma State.
 
Kenny You of fourth-place Dixie State took home the individual championship. He led the Red Storm with a 213 (-3) to finish one stroke in front of SFU's John Mlkotich.
 
Biola next competes in the GSAC/CalPac Regional Tournament on April 13-14.
