LA MIRADA, Calif. --- Annie Park wins her first career Golden State Athletic Conference award and the first GSAC Athlete of the Week award this season for Biola Women's Basketball for her performances between Feb. 16-22.
 
Park began the week with a bang, going off for 31 points to force Biola's battle with No. 6 Concordia into overtime inside Chase Gymnasium. She was fantastic from distance, going 6-of-7 from deep in an 8-of-12 overall shooting display.
 
She became just the fifth player in the conference this season to score 30-plus points in a game and also tacked on four rebounds, five assists and two steals in a phenomenal all-around effort in the overtime loss.
 
She didn't miss a beat heading into Saturday's upset victory over No. 8 Vanguard, shooting the ball at a 50 percent success rate in a 16-point performance. She had a chance to spread the ball around more in that one, helping three of her teammates reach double-digit scoring in the win.
 
Park was steady down the stretch, going 2-of-2 from the free-throw line and 4-of-6 from behind the arc to help Biola maintain the lead it built earlier in the contest.
 
The junior point guard looks to continue her hot play into this week as Biola faces two ranked opponents, No. 16 The Master's College and No. 15 Westmont, in two road games during the final week of the regular season.
