LA MIRADA, Calif. --- Biola tennis hosts the 2013 USTA/ITA west regional tournament Sept. 26-28 at the Biola Tennis Center.

The tournament will feature competitors from six different schools, and the winner of the singles competition and the doubles competition earns a berth in the 2013 USTA/ITA National Small College championships in early October.
 
The competition will feature 55 tennis players from BU, Arizona Christian, Concordia, Hope International, Westmont and Lewis-Clark State.
 
The women's singles draw begins at 3 p.m. on Sept. 26, kicking off the tournament competition. Men's singles begin the following day at 8 a.m., and both sets of doubles draws begin on Sept. 27 at 1 p.m.
 
Representative from the men and women's tennis squads will see their first action of the year in this non-NAIA event. The USTA/ITA regionals and tournament involves all levels of intercollegiate tennis, and is organized by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association.
