COSTA MESA, Calif. --- Biola's rough stretch to open the season continued on Tuesday as the Eagles took on No. 3 Vanguard University. But Biola was unable to must much against the Lions, falling 9-0.

The Eagles (0-2, 0-2 GSAC) received a solid showing from Brandon Chang at No. 3 singles. Chang lost 6-3, 6-3 to Lukas Larsson, but battled hard in defeat.

Biola looks to pick up its first win on Thursday as it hosts Chapman University on Thursday at 2:00 pm at the Biola Tennis Center.
