PRIMM, Nev. --- Playing through wild winds and against a tough field, Biola placed 13th out of 15 teams at the California Baptist University Spring Break Invitational at the Primm Valley Golf Club in Primm, Nevada.

The Eagles lowered their score in each round, finishing with a three-round total of 948, 84 strokes over par.

John Graham continued to be Biola's most consistent performer, finishing 42nd overall with a 13-over-par 229. He carded rounds of 78, 76 and 75 in the tournament. Joshua Mathis finished close behind with a 14-over 230 (81-78-71).

Conner Penfold finished 64th overall with a total score of 240, 24 shots over par. Greg Bodine (83-80-86=249) and Tim Goodfriend (85-86-89=260) rounded out the field for the Eagles.

Oklahoma City University took top honors with a six-over-par 870, finishing five shots ahead of the Savannah College of Art and Design (Ga.). 

Biola returns to action on with a big tournament featuring six NCAA Division I schools at the Lamkin Grip Cal Poly Challenge on March 24-25.
