JAMUL, Calif. --- Joshua Mathis finished 16th and John Graham placed 22nd to pace Biola to an 11th place finish at the Point Loma Nazarene University/Smee Builders Invitational on Monday and Tuesday at the Steele Canyon Golf Club in Jamul, California.

Biola finished the day with a three-round score of 956, carding a low round of 313 in the final round on Tuesday.

Mathis had the lowest round by the Eagles, tying for 16th overall with an 18-over-par 231 (78-79-74). Graham wasn't too far behind with a 21-over 234 (77-79-78) to finish tied for 22nd. 

Rounding out the group for Biola was Greg Bodine in 57th (80-85-82=247) and Kenny Gibo in 63rd (85-91-84=260).

Our Lady of the Lake University out of Michigan beat out Holy Names by a stroke for top team honors with host Point Loma Nazarene University finishing five shots out of first.

Biola returns to action on March 21-22 at the California Baptist University Spring Break Classic in Primm, Nevada.
