JAMUL, Calif. --- Biola's men's golf team placed eighth out of 13 teams at the Point Loma Nazarene University/Smee Builders Invitational at the Steel Canyon Golf Club in Jamul, Calif. on Monday and Tuesday.

The Eagles were pretty consistent overall, finishing with a 935, shooting 311, 313 and 311 in the three-round event. Point Loma won the overall title by 20 strokes.

Jordan Swanson paced Biola with a 14-over-par 227, firing a second-round 73 and finishing with a 76 to earn 16th place overall. Conner Penfold was the Eagles' second-highest finisher, recording a three-round 236 (81-80-75) to tie for 35th place.

Biola is next in action at the California Baptist University Spring Break Invitational March 8-9 at the Primm Valley Golf Course in Primm, Nevada.
