HIGH SCHOOL: Played four years on the varsity squad at Homestead High School in Cupertino…Two-time First-team All-SCVAL De Anza Division selection as a junior and senior…named team captain and team MVP as a senior, earning second-team all-county honors…helped Mustangs win league title and place second in California State tournament as a junior as the team finished 30-9…named Outstanding Junior and Sophomore in the De Anza Division, respectively…played eight years of club volleyball at City Beach, qualifying for junior nationals five times.

PERSONAL: Plans on majoring in Communication Disorders…parents are Gary and Betsy…has three siblings, Courtney (16), Casey and Kelly (14)…cousins Kristen and Katherin Obemyer played volleyball at Cal Berkley and Westmont, respectively…aunt Dee Obemyer played volleyball at San Jose State and uncle Russ Carroll played baseball and football at Azusa Pacific.
