2012: Named to the NAIA All-American second team and All-GSAC squad...led the team and place 13th in program history with 1,161 assists...appeared in 33 matches and played in 105 sets as a junior...she broke into the top 10 all-time by moving up to 2,575 assists...recorded 270 digs and a team-leading 37 aces...picked up a career-best 41 total blocks...passed for a season-best 59 assists at Westmont (Nov. 3).
2011: Appeared in 35 matches and 119 sets as a sophomore...had a team-best 753 assists (5.58 per set while running the 6-2 offense...also fourth on the team with 26 digs (2.12 per set) and had 31 aces and a block...had nine double-doubles (digs-assists) including 23 assists and a season-high 20 digs in Biola's five-set loss at Concordia (Oct. 22)...recorded a season-high 37 assists in a five set loss to College of Idaho (Aug. 27)...reached double-figures in assists in 30 matches including recording at least 20 in 20 matches...ranks 11th overall in career assists (1,320).
2010: Made an immediate impact in her first year at Biola, playing in 36 matches and 126 sets as a true freshman…recorded 661 assists, averaging 5.25 per set, in the Eagles’ 6-2 rotation…added 239 digs (1.90/set), 16 aces (0.13/set) and two kills…had a team-high 37 assists in a five-set loss at Point Loma Nazarene University (Nov. 13), one of four games she recorded 30 or more assists in a match…had nine double-doubles including recording a season-best 18 digs and 33 assists in a four-set road win over arch-rival Azusa Pacific University (Sept. 21)…also recorded 33 assists in a five-set win over Rocky Mountain College (Sept. 3).
HIGH SCHOOL: Played three years on varsity at El Dorado High School in Placentia…helped team to a perfect record in Century League play for final two years including not losing a league set in 2009…established all-time season setting record with 941 in 2009…named Co-El Dorado League MVP, first-team All-CIF and first-team as a senior…played in Orange County All-Star Game…awarded 4.0 scholar-award and named scholar-athlete all four years…also participated in track as a freshman…played club ball for the Laguna Beach VBC.
PERSONAL: Plans on majoring in Kinesiology and wishes to work as a physical therapist after graduation…parents are Deborah and Maurice Gallarda…has four siblings, brothers Cody (25), Tommy (23), Jimmy (16) and sister, Jillian (10)…brother Tommy was a former starting tight end at Boise State University and currently plays for the Jacksonville Jaguars and cousin Chelsee Arnitz plays volleyball at Biola.
