• Helped lead the Lions to back-to-back conference and district championships as a junior and senior
• Guided team to a fifth-place state finish in 2022–23 and a third-place finish in 2023–24
• Named First-Team All-Conference and First-Team All-State in both junior and senior seasons
• Earned Second-Team All-Conference and All-State honors as a sophomore
• Part of the 2022–23 team that earned State Academic Champion honors with a 3.93 GPA

• Born September 5, 2005 to Julie Carter and Kevin Shumate
• Has two siblings: Allison and Chloe
• Mother, Julie, played basketball at the University of Idaho
• Was high school teammates with fellow Eagle, Grace Rice
• Enjoys sports, boating on the lake, and spending time with friends
• Favorite Bible Verse: Jeremiah 29:11
• Why I Chose Biola: "Faith-based community and education, great volleyball program, and located in a beautiful area."
