2019-20
• Appeared in all 11 meets during his first season with Biola
• Recorded all top-10 finishes at the PCSC Championships, setting personal-bests in all individual events
• Placed sixth in the 500-free (4:41.96), sixth in the 100-butterfly (:52.16) and sixth in the 200-fly (1:57.27)
• Had a fourth-place finish in the 100-butterfly at the La Verne Collegiate Winter Invite (:52.53)
• Helped the team to a program-best third-place finish at the PCSC Championships

HIGH SCHOOL
• Prepped four years at Bonita High School in La Verne, Calif., graduating in 2019
• Qualified for CIF meet and was a league champion
• Was his team MVP twice
• Earned all-league honors in freestyle and breaststroke
• Earned scholar-athlete honors
• Also ran cross country for the Bearcats
• Swam three seasons for Brea Aquatics and Jim Johnson

PERSONAL
• Born May 17, 2001 to Michael and Shannon Pon
• Plans to major in sociology and enter a career in law enforcement
• He has two older siblings (Asia and Brandon)
• His brother, Brandon, is a record-holding swimmer at La Verne
• Favorite Bible Verse: Philippians 4:19
• He enjoys camping, dirt bike riding, wakeboarding and water skiing
• Why I Chose Biola: "One of the things that was important to me when choosing a college was to find one that would provide me with a good education and help me to build in my relationship with God. I have visited other Christian schools and found the students do not always practice what they preach. I was hoping to find a school that was Christian, academically motivating and would also build on my athletic career as well. After visiting with Coach Kauth I knew Biola was the place for me."
