LA MIRADA, Calif. --- Biola Track & Field used Saturday as a way to get a few more people to get some prep under their belts for the 2017 Golden State Athletic Conference championship meet.
Biola sent contingents to UC Riverside for the Highlander Invitational and to SOKA University for the CalPac Invitational.
One of day's highlights was
Aditya Lal and
Nic Nelson's 800m runs at the CalPac Invitational. Lal finished third overall with a 1:55.66 and Nelson completed his second 800m run of the year in 1:58.97.
Sarah Prystupa came close to the 'A' standard in the pole vault, but couldn't quite get there as she cleared 3.45m to finish second.
"Sarah did a good job competing hard and getting over a couple of heights," said Head Coach
Sean Henning.
Ambernicole Hollinger was one of the biggest highlights of the UC Riverside meet as she bettered her own school record in the hammer throw again. She cleared 48.07m to earn a 'B' standard.
