Softball To Unveil New Lights Jan. 28

Join us at Freedom Field on January 28 to celebrate the huge new addition to the field.

LA MIRADA, Calif. --- Freedom Field underwent a major renovation this fall as the facility had brand new lights installed that will allow Biola Softball to play night games for the first time in the 2017 season. The Eagles will celebrate the new addition in a big way as the invite friends, family and alumni to a celebration of the new lights on campus on January 28, 2017.

The ceremony will take place at 5:30 p.m. and will precede the annual alumni game, which will have its first pitch at 6:30 p.m. and be the first official night game in Biola Softball history. The ceremony will feature an update on the Freedom Field renovation project and messages from Head Coach Lorie Coleman, some of the current players and Associate Athletic Director Eddie Shepard.

The cost to attend is $5 and will include a Chick-Fil-A dinner, admission to ceremony and alumni game and a light dessert and coffee reception following the game. Registration is open now through 11:59 p.m. on Tuesday, January 24, 2017.
