LA MIRADA, Calif.—Dr. Dave Holmquist, the head men's basketball coach at Biola University, was recently featured in the latest issue of Timeout magazine. Timeout magazine is a publication of the National Association of Basketball Coaches.
 
Coach Holmquist was mentioned twice in the issue. The first mention was for being recognized one of the UPS NABC Coaches of the Year for the 2015-16 season. He was then featured along side two other legendary non-division I men's basketball coaches in recognition of their coaching longevity and history of success.

Dr. Holmquist has been the basketball coach at Biola for 36 years. This season he reached a milestone as he recorded his 900^th college basketball win as a head coach. His overall record is 921 wins and 358 losses.
 
Biola Men's Basketball opens their season on October 27^th at 7:00 pm against La Sierra at Chase Gymnasium.
