SCOTTSDALE, Ariz.—The Biola Women's Golf team has added Bella Larson to their roster for the 2016 recruiting class. She will make her way to the campus from Scottsdale, Arizona and compete for the Eagles in the first year of her collegiate career.
 
Larson was a four-year varsity member of Scottsdale Christian Academy and saw a great deal of individual success on the course. Her leadership qualities led to her becoming the team captain her junior and senior years. She was also the recipient of the Christian Character Award.
 
"Biola University was my number one school of choice! After playing golf with the coaches and meeting some of the other women golfers, I knew I was where God wanted me to be," said Larson. "I am grateful to be able to play competitive golf with devoted Christian teammates while earning my degree from a distinguished university."
 
Larson qualified for the individual state tournament four times and placed as high as sixth in 2015. She was considered the best golfer on her team for three years and won the golfer of the year award three times.
 
She is committed to her faith and loves to interact with other people through it.
 
"I have a heart for mission trips, especially serving children. I love to minister to children through sports. I have enjoyed, and have spiritually grown from, four years of national and international mission trips," said Larson.
 
She is an excellent student who was named to the Dean's list, honor roll and is a member of the national honors society.
