AMARILLO, Tex.---The Biola women's golf team's second round of the NCAA Division II West Regional was postponed to tomorrow Wednesday, May 7th due to rain.

The Eagles were looking forward to beginning their second round but consistent rain combined with the rainfall that occurred the night before would make the course at the Tascosa Golf Club unplayable. The second round will begin tomorrow with a shotgun start at 8 a.m. CT (6 a.m. PT) with the hope of continuing the third after.

After round one, Biola is 16th of 18 teams with a team score of +43. Rachel Shaw leads Biola with a first round score of nine-above-par 80 (T47). Behind Rachel Shaw was Theresa Shaw (81, +10, T59), Karis Haltom (+11, 82, T66), Melanie Reyes (+13, 84, T75) and Claire Shubin (+17, 88, T90).
