LA MIRADA---The Biola women's golf team dominated the PacWest Conference's special awards and had four golfers selected to the PacWest's All-Conference teams.

Dr. Jane Carr was named the PacWest's Coach of the Year for the third team of her career. In 2024-25, Carr led the Biola women's golf team to become the PacWest Conference Champions and make a team appearance at the NCAA Division II West Regionals --- for the third time in the last four years.
The Biola women's golf team, under Carr's leadership, also had the PacWest Conference's Individual Champion, was PacWest Team of the Week five times and had four PacWest Golfers of the Week. Additionally, the Eagles were ranked as high as 30th in the nation and eighth in the West Region by Clippd.
Claire Shubin was the PacWest's Women's Golfer of the Year and a First Team All-PacWest selection. The Graduate Student was named All-PacWest for the fourth time in her career.Â
Shubin made an immediate impact on the Biola women's golf team, joining the team in Fall 2024. She led the Eagles with an average of 75.45 from 12 tournaments and 29 rounds. She had seven top 10 finishes this season, four of which were top five. Her best finish of the year was third at the Jack Brown Memorial where she scored nine-above-par 153. She also recorded her personal best round of four-under-par 68 at the RJGA Palm Valley Classic.Â
At the PacWest Championships, Shubin finished tied for 10th with a three round score of eight-above-par 224.
Shubin ended the year nationally-ranked No. 112 and regionally-ranked 29 by Clippd. She was also a PacWest Golfer of the Week.
Melanie Reyes and Theresa Shaw joined Shubin on the PacWest's First Team.Â
Reyes earned All-PacWest recognition for the second time in her career. The Senior ended the season with an average of 76 from 29 rounds and 12 tournaments. Reyes also had four top 10 finishes, two top five and one first place finish. She won the Westminster Wasatch Invitational with a two-round score of one-above-par 145. Additionally, Reyes achieved her personal best round of three-under-par 69 at the Tim Tierney Pioneer Shootout.Â
At the PacWest Championships, Reyes finished T21st with a three round score of 12-above-par 228.
Reyes tied for Biola's best individual finish at the West Regionals, T41 with a three round score of 227.
Theresa Shaw collected the second All-PacWest honor of her career. The Sophomore held a steady spot in the Eagles' starting five, competing in all 12 of Biola's regular season tournaments where she averaged 76 from 29 rounds.Â
Additionally, Shaw earned four top 10 finishes. Her best finish was sixth at the RJGA Palm Valley Classic with a two-round score of one-under 143. Shaw achieved her personal best round of three-under-par 69 in the third round of the NCAA National Preview.
At the PacWest Championships, Shaw placed ninth with a three round score of seven-above-par 223.
Rachel Shaw was named to the PacWest's Third Team which was the third All-PacWest honor of her career. Shaw averaged 77.13 this season from 24 regular season rounds. Additionally, Shaw had two top 10 finishes this season, her best finish being tied for fourth at the RJGA Palm Valley Classic with a two-round score of two-under 142. Shaw also achieved her personal best round of three-under-par 69 at the Palm Valley Classic.
At the PacWest Championships, Shaw finished seventh with a three round score of five-above-par 221.
