LA MIRADA---Four members of the Biola women's golf team—Rachel Shaw, Theresa Shaw, Laura Ortiz, and Karis Haltom—were named to the WGCA's All-American Scholar Team.

To be selected to the All-American Scholar Team, a student-athlete must: have an overall cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher, be an amateur and on the team's roster through the conclusion of the team's season and have played in 50% of the college's regularly scheduled competitive rounds during the year nominated through the team's conference championship.

Rachel Shaw, who graduated with her bachelor's in business administration, was selected as a WGCA All-American Scholar for the third time in her four-year career at Biola. In the 2024-25 season, Rachel was a Third Team All-Pacwest selection and a Biola Athletics Elite 18 Academic Award winner.

Theresa Shaw and Karis Haltom earned WGCA All-American Scholar honors for the second time in their careers. Theresa and Haltom are both working on their bachelor's in business administration and were CSC Academic All-District selections. Additionally, Theresa was a First Team All-PacWest selection and Haltom was the individual medalist at the PacWest Championships.

Ortiz was Biola's final Scholar All-American selection. The Senior graduated from Biola with an accounting major, played in 10 tournaments and averaged seven-above-par in 2024-25.
