LA MIRADA, Calif. --- Biola's spring athletic programs did well to continue the tradition of academic success throughout the Eagles' varsity teams as 31 student-athletes earned Golden State Athletic Conference Scholar-Athlete honors in 2016.

Women's Track & Field led the strong field of academic achievers this spring with 15 scholar-athletes coming from Head Coach
Sean Henning's GSAC Championship team.

Other award-winners came from women's golf, women's tennis, men's tennis, softball, baseball and men's track & field.
Â
In order to earn scholar-athlete recognition the student-athlete must be a junior or senior (based on academic units completed) and have a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher.
