LA MIRADA, Calif. --- The best of the best in NAIA Track & Field travel to the Deep South this weekend for the 2016 NAIA Outdoor Track & Field Championships at Mickey Miller Blackwell Stadium in Gulf Shores, Alabama.

Biola Track & Field sends a contingent of 12 student-athletes to compete in the event over the course of May 26-28. Head Coach
Sean Henning had 14 student-athletes qualify for national competition, but with two staying behind to graduate he takes 10 women and two men to compete.

The Eagles will be represented in the women's 4x800-meter relay, the 800m, 1,500m, 5,000m, 3,000m steeplechase and pole vault and the men's 800m and 1,500m.

Nicole Falkenstein will be the first Eagle to compete when she participates in her final women's pole vault event at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday and events will run (in prelims and finals) over the next three days with the final possible Biola event taking place with the women's 5,000m final at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday.

naia.org. Daily admission on-site at the 2016 NAIA Outdoor National Championships is $8.00.
