SAN DIEGO, Calif. --- Biola Women's Basketball closes out its 2016-17 exhibition contests with a road game at San Diego State on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m.

This is Biola's third and final exhibition against a NCAA Division I opponent this season. The previous contests were against Fresno State and Long Beach State; all three have been on the road.
 
The Eagles (9-3) will not count the game towards their season record, but the hosting Aztecs (4-6) will, as it is a countable contest for them.
 
San Diego State is riding a two-game winning streak, getting victories over CSU Fullerton and UC Santa Barbara in its last two times out.
 
Biola's head coach, Alan Nakamura, is an alumnus of San Diego State, graduating from there with a Bachelor's of Science in Psychology.
 
San Diego State has played one common opponent of the Eagles' from this season. The Aztecs defeated San Diego Christian 80-70 back on Nov. 14. Biola has not yet played San Diego Christian this year, but will face the Hawks at least twice before the season is done.
 
Biola has won six consecutive contests over the Hawks. San Diego Christian is on an upswing this season though, currently sporting an 11-1 overall record.
 
Biola Women's Basketball has played San Diego State six times and split the all-time series 3-3. SDSU has won each of the last three matchups.
 
Look for the Aztecs to rely a lot on McKynzie Fort in tonight's contest. Fort is averaging 15.8 points-per-game in her junior season and has started 65 consecutive contests for SDSU.
 
If Biola can press the issue inside and score a lot of points in the paint they can definitely make a game out of this. The Aztecs' leading rebounder is a guard, and the Eagles have a definite size advantage over the SDSU starting forwards.
 
Also, the standard contribution from Annie Park and DeMoria White will go a long way towards giving Biola a chance at a win over this NCAA Division I team. Either way it will be fun to watch. Tune in at the links above tonight at 6:30 p.m.
