Box Score ALISO VIEJO, Calif. --- The No. 22 Biola Women's Soccer team took advantage of a flurry of opportunities in the first half to secure a 3-1 victory over SOKA University in Saturday night's NAIANetwork.com Women's Soccer Game of the Week.

The two teams scored all four goals in the first half of play, beginning with three straight to start the game for the Eagles. SOKA got on the board off a deflected free kick with 10 minutes remaining in the first half before the two teams took their foot off the gas pedal a bit in the second half.

Kayla White netted her first career goal to open the scoring in the 14
th minute. She intercepted the ball after SOKA took possession and turned it into a goal as she buried the ball in the far right of the net.

Biola saw quite a few more chances miss wide and high as the first half progressed until one magical moment between 29 and 30 minutes into play where it got two goals in a span of 39 seconds.

The first goal came when
Michaila Martin pushed a beautiful through ball into the box for
Brittni Coffeen who was waiting to flick the ball right past the SOKA keeper for the first goal of her Biola career.

The other goal came just a few ticks of the second hand later as it was Martin who stole the ball from the Lions and turned it into paydirt with her second tally of the season.

The Eagles' offense was relentless in the first half as it outshot the Lions 15-5. Biola would end with 22 shots on the evening, compared to SOKA's eight. Biola also saw more opportunities in the dangerous attacking errors thanks for a 4-1 corner kick advantage.

After the SOKA goal the Eagles focused more on possession and took a few shots at goal but found nothing else for the rest of the match. The Lions were unable to turn up any more goals either as
Marina Rodriguez got her first action of the season by playing in goal for the second half.

Biola improves to 6-0-1 with the win and SOKA drops to 2-5 on the year. This was the final non-conference preseason match for Biola. Its next match is in Atherton, California on Tuesday as they take on Menlo for the 2015 Golden State Athletic Conference opener. This is the final game of a four-match road trip before Biola returns home for five in a row.
