JACKSONVILLE, Fla. --- Caren Ware ('84), ran the hurdles, 400m, 200m, long jumped, triple jumped and was the fastest leg on Biola's relay team from 1980-1984. She went on to make a career out of running, developing a premiere timing company working with triathlons, marathons, running and cycling events.Â

After claiming 11 national and two world championship titles in the heptathlon (200m, 800m, hurdles, long jump, high jump, shot put, and javelin), Caren just earned the 2015 National Masters Track & Field Champion title in the 300m hurdles and pentathlon at Jacksonsville, Florida, competing in sweltering 101-degree temperatures.

Caren will be on campus Saturday Oct. 24 to manage Biola Weekend's fifth annual 5K Run.
