SAN DIEGO, Calif. --- Jenny London has been groomed to come to Biola and swim collegiately for quite some time. She's been swimming competitively for 13 years, has two cousins swimming at the collegiate level and her brother and sister both attended Biola before her.
 
The San Diego native recently committed to follow her heart to Biola and swim for Head Coach Eddie Shepard.
 
"I am extremely excited that Jenny will be joining us next fall," said Shepard. "She is a great breaststroker who will be a huge contributor to our program. I am looking forward to seeing her develop into a top level college swimmer."
 
She brings with her a championship pedigree from her high school swimming experience at Christian High School, where she swam four years on varsity and led her team to three league championships.
 
She was a part of setting school records in the 200-freestyle relay, 200-medley relay and 400-freestyle relay and finished ninth overall in the CIF San Diego sectionals in the 100-breaststroke.
 
London made the CIF Finals, earned the coach's award, made the honor roll and was a scholar-athlete as she juggled an immense swimming schedule and rigorous coursework during her time with the Patriots.
 
"I decided on Biola because I just felt a peace on this campus and I look forward to seeing what God has in store for me," said London.
 
She graduates this spring and will enter Biola in the fall of 2015. She plans to major in kinesiology and hopes to enter a career as an occupational therapist.
