INDIAN WELLS, Calif. --- Biola Women's Tennis finished its season with Golden State Athletic Conference Tournament First Round competition against No. 14 Concordia. Concordia, the No. 3 seed in the tournament, took the match 5-1.

Biola took one of the three doubles matches that started the play at the famous Indian Wells Tennis Center.
Kathryn Ashford and
Susan Carmichael were locked in from the start in an 8-5 victory over Caitlyn Uzzi and Layla Accorsi. The Eagles' pairing avenged a loss to that same duo from Biola's March 31 0-9 loss at Concordia.

CUI won the first three completed singles matches (No. 2, No. 1, No. 3) to secure the 5-1 match victory and bring Biola's season to a close. They higher-seeded Eagles were leading each of the unfinished singles matches as well.

Lauren Vogel and
Susan Carmichael played their final match for the Eagles as they conclude their final season on the team. Carmichael ends with 28 singles victories and just under a .500 career singles record in 60 total matches. She also tacked on 28 doubles victories with a similar career winning percentage. Vogel finishes her career with 11 singles wins and 22 doubles victories over four seasons.

Biola finishes the year with a 4-19 mark, while Concordia advances to the semifinals and improves its overall mark to 10-11. Biola's players will compete in the Ojai Tournament later on in the month.Â
