LA MIRADA --- Biola women's tennis earned academic honors from the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA), with six Eagles named ITA Scholar-Athletes and the program receiving ITA All-Academic Team distinction.

In 2026, the ITA selected 649 Division II women's tennis student-athletes as Scholar-Athletes and honored 95 programs nationwide with All-Academic Team distinction, celebrating academic excellence across collegiate tennis.

To earn ITA Scholar-Athlete honors, student-athletes must post at least a 3.5 grade-point average during the current academic year and be listed on their institution's eligibility form. Teams qualify for ITA All-Academic Team status by posting a cumulative grade-point average of 3.20 or higher while meeting the association's eligibility requirements.
