LA MIRADA, Calif. --- Biola leads the Golden State Athletic Conference with six basketball GSAC Scholar-Athletes.
 
Five of Biola's honors come from the men's team, with Colin Bossio, Mike Kurtz, Christian Misi, Caelan Tiongson and Pierre Zook each earning the honor. Aubree Mittel represented the women's team by receiving the award.
 
Biola's six honorees equate to exactly one-fourth of the total number of award-winners in the conference (24).
 
To be eligible for a GSAC Scholar-Athlete honor student-athletes must be a junior or senior with a cumulative grade point average above 3.5.
 
This is the first career GSAC Scholar-Athlete honor for all six of these athletes.
