Eagles Athletic Association Hosts Dinner With Michael Chang

Biola invites alumni, current students and friends of the program to join tennis pro Michael Chang for dinner.

LA MIRADA, Calif. --- The Eagles Athletic Association is hosting a special evening to celebrate Biola Tennis on April 18. The evening will feature a dinner, alumni tennis doubles matches and special guest, tennis pro Michael Chang.

The event is open for any Biola alumni, current students, family or friends/fans of the program. The cost of attendance is $25 for general admission and $15 for current Biola students.

The night is meant to be an evening of sharing how Biola's tennis program has impacted lives over the years and to look ahead at the bright future planned for the program.

Chang is a Biola alum of Biola who also had a very successful professional tennis career, setting numerous "youngest player records," after he turned pro at just 15-years-old. He became the youngest Grand Slam champion when he won the French Open in 1989 and was ranked in the top-5 worldwide.

He currently competes in the PowerShares series with other tennis legends and he coaches No. 5-ranked Kei Nikoshori.

In addition to the dinner with Chang, tennis alumni are invited to compete in a series of round robin doubles exhibition matches from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on that day.
