LA MIRADA, Calif. --- After going four years without one, Men's Tennis has two 9-0 wins in its last four matches following today's shutout of Willamette University at the Biola Tennis Center.
 
Head Coach 
Brent Worthington's team was firing on all cylinders in the dominant performance against the Bearcats, getting nearly flawless wins in two of three doubles matches and straight-set victories in every singles march except one.
 
Luke Mountain had an unblemished day in the No. 4 singles position, defeating Shrujan Kalidindi 6-0; 6-0. It is the 18
th singles win of Mountain's Biola career, but it marks the first time he's taken a match in straight 6-0 sets.
 
David Garcia came close to getting the third 6-0; 6-0 victory of his career, but he ended up getting a 6-1; 6-0 victory to improve to 8-7 in singles this season.
 
Some singles winning streaks continued in this match as 
Brandon Chang earned his third straight win at the No. 3 position and 
Philip Westwood moved to eight-straight singles victories with a 6-2; 6-2 win at No. 2.
 
Chang paired with 
Tayven Townsend at No. 1 doubles and Westwood coupled with Mountain as the two pairs earned dominant 8-1 victories.
The Eagles look to continue this momentum tomorrow afternoon as they aim to get their second victory of the season over Hope International. Play begins in Fullerton at 2:00 p.m.
