PALM DESERT, Calif. --- Biola shoots a two-round team score of 732 (+156) to place 12^th of 13 teams at the 2015 Augustana College Spring Fling Invitational at The Classic Club.
 
The Eagles finished eight strokes ahead of the last-place finisher, Pomona-Pitzer, which can be partially attributed to a six-stroke improvement between round one and two (369 to 363).
 
The field faced windy conditions and tough pin placement, forcing scores to be a bit higher than normal at the 5,901 yard, par 72 course.
 
The mid-80s was a magic spot for Biola's golfers, as Whitney Jammerman carded an 86 and an 85 to lead Biola in both rounds. Sarah Paravia caught up to Jammerman in her second round, posting an 86 after a 94 on the first day.
 
Those two were the Eagles' top two finishers, with Jammerman finishing at 171 (+27) to claim sole possession of 36^th-place in the 71-woman field, and Paravia finishing tied for 49^th with her 180 (+36).
 
The rest of the Eagles' rounds were in the 90s, with two rounds in the low-100s.
 
Oklahoma Christian won the team championship, powered by the top-four individual finishers. The Eagles carded a day one 316 and day two 298 to finish at +38, 23 strokes ahead of the next-best finisher.
 
Audrey Meisch won the individual championship with a 149 (+5). She shot both of her rounds in the 70s, nearly dipping into the 60s with her round two 71.
 
Biola competes again on March 28-29 at the UCSC Invitational. The tournament will be held at Pacific Grove Golf Course.
