LA MIRADA, Calif. --- Annie Park had a brilliant, phenomenal, fantastic, excellent first season in the Golden State Athletic Conference and was rewarded for her efforts on Monday, being named to the all-conference team.
 
Park was the only Eagle selected to the 11-player All-GSAC team. She was given the honor after finishing the regular season ranked No. 2 in the nation in three-point field goal percentage (.459).
 
"Annie is an incredible player," said Head Coach Dr. Bethany Miller. "She's a great shooter, from both the three-point line and free-throw line, and she's phenomenal as a distributor as well, allowing her to play both point guard and shooting guard."
 
Park finished the regular season near the top of the conference in six different statistical categories, all speaking to her tremendous versatility on the court. She was 12^th in scoring (11.8ppg), sixth in assists (3.4apg), 11^th in steals (1.3spg), fifth in 3-point FG made (2.2/gm), sixth in assist-to-turnover ratio (1.4:1) and led the conference in three-point shooting percentage.
 
She was the most prolific scorer on the Eagles' roster all season long, leading the team in points-per-game and scoring the game-high for the Eagles 10 times in the 30 games. No other Eagle led the team in scoring more than five times.
 
"She's made a great difference in our ball control stats this year and in our offensive attack," said Miller. "She's very versatile in her scoring ability, works hard defensively and is a leader on the court. She's an all-around pleasure to coach and we're very excited for her."
 
Only five of the nine teams in the conference had representation on the All-GSAC squad, with Westmont leading the way with its three selections. Vanguard's Riley Holsinger was named GSAC Player of the Year after averaging nearly 20 points-per-game, eight rebounds-per-game and shooting 43 percent for the Lions.
 
Park and the Eagles are not done yet, traveling to The Master's College on Wednesday night for the Golden State Athletic Conference Tournament First Round.
