LA MIRADA, Calif. --- For the second time in as many weeks and third time during this 2015 season Alyssa Mason has earned the Golden State Athletic Conference Attacker of the Week honors.
 
Mason and the Eagles went 3-0 on the week in matches against Life Pacific, Menlo and William Jessup. All three victories were 3-0 final scores.
 
The senior now-middle blocker was on fire throughout the week as she went without committing a single attacking error in her 52 attack attempts. She ended up with 35 kills and a .673 hitting percentage.
 
She continues to improve her blocking game each week as she ended with 16 total blocks in this week's three contests including six solo blocks. This marks her second week in a row with at least four solo blocks after only having one such week through all of August and September.
 
This is Mason's fifth career GSAC Player of the Week honor adding this year's three to last season's two awards.
 
She and the Eagles have a tough week ahead as they face No. 16 Westmont and RV The Master's College on the road in two GSAC contests.
