MIRA LOMA, Calif. --- Tim Glenn joins the catching contingent at Biola, following four years as a three-sport varsity athlete at Eleanor Roosevelt High School.
 
Glenn caught for the Mustangs and also played water polo and was a member of the swim team. He kept his grades high to earn the distinction of the all-academic team in all three sports.
 
"Tim is a hard worker and is excited to join the group behind the plate," said Head Coach Jay Sullenger. "This summer it was quickly seen how his abilities could be an asset to Biola baseball this season. His passion for playing and attending Biola will serve him well as he competes for his spot."
 
Glenn finished his time at Eleanor Roosevelt with a 4.2 cumulative grade point average, and he has very high aspirations for his career. He is in classes at Biola now and will major in human biology, with hopes to start a career as an infectious disease specialist.
 
He should be able to handle the heavy athletic and academic workload, because he graduated with "honors with distinction" from Eleanor Roosevelt.
 
"I chose Biola because it is one of the only places where I can play baseball, earn a degree and grow in my relationship with Christ," said Glenn.
