LA MIRADA --- The Biola baseball team collected two more regional honors and a Region Position Player of the Year award from the America Baseball Coaches Association/Rawlings.

James Whitman was named the Region Position Player of the Year and to the West All-Region First Team. Whitman led the PacWest in the eight different categories and led the region in six of those categories, including a .439 batting average and 1.531 OPS. Whitman was also named PacWest Player of the Year.

Jonny Tewinkle was also named to the West All-Region First Team. Tewinkle adds another All-Region First Team to his resume after being named to both the NCBWA and D2CCA All-Region First Teams. Tewinkle led the conference in hits with 79, hitting .411 over 192 at bats.
