LA MIRADA, Calif. --- It may have only been a mediocre week for the team as a whole, but Boone Farrington played out of his mind between March 10-16 and his efforts were rewarded with the first Golden State Athletic Conference baseball player of the week award.
 
Biola went 1-4 in five game played, but Farrington went 10-for-15 in those contests and scored three runs while driving in three more to far outperform any other hitter in the conference.
 
His performances kept alive a nine-game hitting streak and helped him raise his batting average by 60 points as he led Biola to break its 10-game losing streak.
 
Farrington's 10 hits on the week helped him break into the top-20 in the nation in total hits. He sits at 18^th with his 38 knocks. He is also now in the top-50 in the NAIA in doubles (8) after getting three two-base hits on the week.
 
The award is Farrington's first conference player of the week honor in his time at Biola.
