LA MIRADA, Calif. --- BIola returned to the courts on Saturday to make up a rained out match against Whittier College. However the result went the way of the Poets, who defeated the Eagles 7-2 at the Biola Tennis Center on Saturday morning.

The Eagles dropped to 1-8 with the loss while Whittier moves to 3-1.

BIola picked up two wins during the singles compeition, though one came by default as a Whittier Player was injured during doubles play. The otther victory came at No. 4 singles as Susan Carmichael picked up a 6-3, 6-2 victory at singles. 

Bioal returns to action on Tuesday, hosting Ohio Northern in a non-conference match on Tuesday at 12:30 pm.
