GENEVA, Ohio --- Freshman Kellian Hunt had a banner day, helping the Biola women's team to a sixth place finish--its fifth-straight season with a top 10 finish--to highlight action at the final day of the 2013 NAIA Indoor Track and Field Championships at the SPIRE Institute in Geneva, Ohio on Saturday.

Biola finishes with sixth with 31 total points, just two points behind fifth-place College of Idaho (33) and seven behind fourth-place Doane (Neb.) (38). Oklahoma Baptist University won the team titles on both the men's and women's side.

Hunt had a banner day for the Eagles, starting with finishing as the national runner-up in the mile. The freshman finished in 4:57.52 to set a school record, breaking the old record of 4:59.44 set by Nychele Fischetti at last year's championships.

Hunt then came back and finished third in the 1,000 with another personal best and school record with a time of 2:53.13. She beat Kelsey Gasner's school record of 2:54.54 also set at last year's national meet.

Hunt then wrapped up the day by teaming up with Ilima Kung, Tayllor Lemphers and Alexandra Sciarra to finish third in the distance medley relay in 12:03.19. The top three finished made it five-straight years the DMR team has earned All-America honors.

Sciarra also earned All-America honors earlier in the day in the 600, placing eighth in 1:39.08. Freshman Anika Gasner earned seventh place overall in the 800 with a time of 2:18.06 to also garner All-America honors.

"I'm overwhelmed with the work ethic and concentration of the entire men and women's teams," said Head Coach Jonathan Zimmerman. "I honestly feel so blessed to coach them, grow with them, and watch them compete at such a high level!

"For most of them it is a rare experience to be warming up and cooling down for races outside with the snow is falling while doing their racing inside," said Zimmerman. "The Spire Institute here in Geneva, Ohio is one of the finest 300 meter indoor track in the entire country. We are blessed to be here and came come home now knowing that we represented well."

Biola earned 11 All-America awards during the 2013 championships. They are:
